the end of the dollar
February 28th, 2003 Posted in politicstalking to a colleage today aboutn the impending war in the gulf. One of the reasons that US are so keen on a war is (suprisingly) to control the production of oil in the middle east. More worryingly (for the US), apparently several gulf states have proposed fixing the proce of oil in Euros, not dollars. this would cause the value of the dollar to plummet. havent been able to find much about this apart from this article…but I’m still looking
