About

I'm Gareth, a British-Canadian developer and builder, living in Berlin. My work sits somewhere between software and people - building web products and trying to make things make sense across languages and cultures.

I make tools for the web, and for real life - recently building a project to teach IT skills to refugees in Beirut.

Outside of work, I sing bass in choirs, play guitar and piano. I speak French, German, Spanish and Levantine Arabic, with a little Turkish thrown in for good measure. If I'm not in Berlin, you'll probably find me somewhere in Europe, hiking, practicing languages and testing the local cuisine.
